If you’d like to hear two of my poems, my thoughts on poetry & nature, or simply just the sound of my voice, listen to my episode with Shenandoah National Park’s Milepost 51 Podcast!

About Me

I’m a third-year MFA candidate in poetry at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, I’ve worked as the assistant poetry editor for Salt Hill Journal, and currently serve as the managing editor. This year I will be leaving behind the Writing and Rhetoric Department to teach Poetry and Nonfiction workshops to undergraduate students. At the University of Virginia (‘22), I studied in the Area Program for Poetry Writing and the Medieval & Renaissance Studies concentration in English. In the past, I tutored English and taught at the youth writing camp Spells Writing Lab in Philadelphia, PA. In my free time, I crochet large blankets and think about my childhood dogs. But most of the time, I’m occupied by looking at things and going “hmm…”
